Scott Atkinson is a writer and editor whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian,Vice, Writer's Digest, and many other publications. Scott cut his teeth in journalism in Flint, Michigan, where he's explored everything from dying factory bars to cemeteries holding the remains of long-lost orphans. Atkinson teaches writing and journalism at The University of Michigan-Flint, and continues to write about Flint as well as anywhere else his curiosity takes him.
